(2081) Duncan Mixon was the father of Ira Mixon (2136). Duncan mar. Anna King, dau. of Elijah King and his wife, Elizabeth Belk. She was dau. of Jeremiah Belk (a brother of Gatsy Belk, above mentioned), and Jeremiah BElk's wife was Anna Mixon, dau. of Micah Mixon.

Anna King_, had a brother named Zimmerman King, (bur. at Oak Grove, MS, near Sparta) and he had a grandson, Otis Beasley, who lived at Woodland,  MS Carrie bollard was a second cousin Lo Ira Mixon.

John Mixon, s. of Samuel Mixon and his wife, was b. in Darlington District, S.C. ca. 1783, d. 1825. About 1811, he m. Martha Windham, b. ca. 1795. They are listed in the 1820 census of Darlington with three sons, and in the 1830 census, she alone is listed with the three sons. The 1825 Original Revolutionary Grants of South Carolina shows she was made a grant for that year for three children. The age groups of the children fit the ages that later census records give of each of them:
