District, SC, m. Hardy Watford, b. 1784 in Pitt County, NC, d. 1853
(1862), son of Major Joseph Watford and Priscilla Fazer, a Revolutionary
Soldier. (Nancy and her sisters
Penelope and Lydia married brothers). All following children were b.
in Darlington District, SC, except their last child, Simpson, who was b.
near Slocomb, AL
