Written after she returned to the States
I was very sick the last few days we were there and I stayed in bed trying to get well. I was sick all the way home on the plane and at times I could hardly breath. I used nose spray constantly to keep my heard cleared so I could breath. It was awful!
And then some years later she added the following.
Got home and went to the doctor and finally got over it. But years later I still have to take Chlortriton to keep my throat and head open. It also affected my hearing for many years and also my singing. If I sing I get to coughing and I get choked up. I had to get my hearing checked (found nothing wrong) and my throat check twice. I blame it all on the air pressure in the plane and my bad cold I had.
